Nevada courts are pioneering with the first generative AI-powered chatbot in the nation—an accessible tool that delivers plain language guidance in multiple languages, making complex legal processes clear and easy to navigate for all users.

As part of the self-help tools CiviLaw.Tech developed for the Nevada Supreme Court, we're excited to highlight our new generative AI-powered chatbot. This tool provides clear, concise, and personalized answers to legal questions, helping self-represented litigants navigate complex legal processes more confidently.

The chatbot marks a significant shift in how courts approach access to justice. Leveraging generative AI with a specialized knowledge base, it assists users in understanding procedures for divorce, child custody, name changes, protection orders, and other areas of the law. Instead of sifting through lengthy forms and jargon-filled explanations, users can ask questions in plain language and get easy-to-understand guidance. Additionally, it supports multiple languages and handles follow-up questions seamlessly.

Since its launch in June 2024, the chatbot has already proven impactful. Early data shows over 5,000 sessions, with an average time lasting 2 minutes on average, demonstrating its efficiency in saving time and providing reassurance during challenging times.
